Process
Every business organization has internal and external customers.
Each of these customers has needs.
Each need is being fulfilled by one or more processes ( example order management process).
Each process has one or more rules (example – orders worth more that $ 5000 must be reviewed by the Account Manager).
The success of an Information Technology (IT) project depends primarily on understanding needs, processes and rules.
Business organizations may or may not have process maturity. Organizations that do, adapt to Information Technology (IT) faster than those who do not.
Organizations that do not have adequate process maturity often think that the Information Technology (IT) solutions will solve their problem; unfortunately, this is not likely to be the case.
Information technology can accelerate the efficiency of a process – it cannot exist efficiently without a process.
UXL’s teams are trained to understand processes based on the science of quality management as practiced by the ISO and project management practice systems. This understanding increases the chance of success of Information Technology projects.
